The James Gang story began in the small Oregon coastal town of Lincoln City. Pam and Jesse James purchased a barbecue restaurant called Red's Barbecue. It was there that the sauces gained favor with their customers and eventually grew into what is now the James Gang BBQ Company. The restaurant was sold in 2000, but the James Gang BBQ Company still thrives. They have received National recognition of excellence for their sauces and rubs.
